clutch issues
ok, so symtoms: my clutch pedal is very mushy, i have problems getting into gear id say,
now i have found out when i was bleeding the clutch, that i had large amounts of air bubbles that were coming out of the bleeder screw. my main question is, do i need a master cylinder or slave cylinder or possibly even both? please let me know and any advice helps. thanks guys! |
Replace both if replacing one, which seems very likely.

I've always been told to replace both. Cheap enough on Ebay

Replace both, since you have things apart and it's cheap insurance.

You don't need anymore advice, do what they all said.

But if you want more advice, and your beehive is leaking at all, it's a good time to replace those o rings and the related coolant hoses. With the beehive out of the way it's a little easier to get to the slave. But only if you want more advice.

And replace the clutch hose, too, for good measure. Complete fresh system that way and no worries of a burst line due to age.

Listen to me. You should replace all hydraulics including clutch, pressure plate and t/o bearing. It should take less than 1/2 day to doit all. no need to thank me lol
