cheapest place to get a turbo ever!!!!
http://www.mjmturbos.com/Graveyards.htm
this makes me want to cry, but at the same time i know i can reap the benefits of others misfortunes. |
oh my god. oh my god. turbos! they all look like shit tho. haha last night I had a dream that I bought a drop in turbo kit for my 12a for like 3k bucks. it was a sweet dream.
im sure you could pick and pull the good parts from different ones and put together a nice one. This place also sells new turbos for decent prices. If you look carefully at the pictures there is some turbos there that are bigger than microwaves!
Wow, that place is maybe 45 minutes from me. I had no idea.
thats crazy where is it at>? i could so tinker with just one for like a year lol
w00t!!!
it's in south windsor connecticut!!!! that's like 20 minutes from here!!!!!!!!!! i want to go! they have mazda turbos- maybe i'll get a 2nd gen one, what is it called, the Hitachi IHI-T3 or the IHI-RHB6 LOL!!! who want's to make 3,000 hp? ------> http://www.mjmturbos.com/RUSSIANRED.htm why have i not heard about this place? |
I know right? this place is really nice. It is close by to me too. I was actually looking into getting the russian red for my 7...I think it makes about 85 psi
did you see the size compairson, next to a coffe can? It won't fit in the engine bay :D It's way bigger than a rotary:
http://www.mjmturbos.com/images/RUSSIANRED.jpg wow, i have no clue about turbos. which one is good for a 12a? |
Man that thing is the size of your 12a. lol
Guys those pics of the massive amounts of turbos they have are for the most part worthless unless you can rebuild and balance turbos. Those are all old used worn out cores. 85% of them are bad and need to be rebuilt (which is why mjm has them so they can rebuild them and sell them).
i was just kidding about putting one in my car, LOL...I probably couldnt even lift that thing. I'd need a crane. They also have some massive supercharges there. I was looking into getting this one though...

What would stop you from slapping on a random turbo to a 12a? I might be totally wrong, but couldn't you just fab the exhaust manifold, bolt it on, run the intercooler and oil lines and be set?
That's WAY too small man. It'd spin up IMMEDIATLY, but you'll top it out around 4-5k RPM @ only a few psi.
its for my go cart
I gotta get a digital camera to post a pic of my turbo I got off of ebay. Its HUGE but almost every rotary guy I have talked to tells me I will be able to spool it on my soon to be bridgeported 4 port 13b.
