cheap lightweight flywheel???

I'm looking for a decent priced lightweight flywheel...Does anyone have any suggestions where I can find a good one for a good price.....The cheapest one I have found was from tweakit.net but I haven't heard much about them.....If anyone has ordered one from them please let me know and tell me how good the quality was....

Thanx.....

How cheap is cheap? there's plenty of flywheels available in Aust. for decent prices.

well check this link out...they are pretty cheap but they look wierd....they look different then most flywheels I have seen........and it says that they require 12A/13B 4-port style pressure plate.......i dont get it....haha

Just in case, STAY AWAY from a used 215mm RB aluminum flywheel. Replacement friction plate has been out of production for over 5 years.

I have one almost identical to that one on tweek. Works great! Used the RB spacer kit.

screw the spacer kit get machined washers and save some money

Found this other thread about the tweakit.net one

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=tweakit.net

Just thought I'd put in my input. IMHO, I'd pay RB for theirs instead of dealing with overseas shipping, getting a ring gear installed and spacing the flywheel properly. But that's just me, I'm crazy like that. And I can't find a good machine shop I can trust to do things like install a ring gear.

You can use a flywheel/front counterweight from a simialar year automatic 7. Example, I can use an auto 85 flywheel in my 83 and so on and so forth. It is a bit lighter than the normal 5 speed flywheel but I am sure it would be the cheapest (junkyard).
