catalytic converter and exhaust problem.

well, I got my racing beat header in today. It seems as if the people who owned before us had the catalytic converter welded the the pipe that I need to take off.

How do I get it too a muffler shop to get it welded, and how much does it cost$ to get the catalytic converter pipe cut, and the racing beat header welded to the system? :wallbash:

that is going to depend entirely on your local exhaust shop, but I would guess at least 50 bucks

If you're going to remove the catyletic converter from the system, I'm going to say they wont do it because it's probably illegal, at least in Maryland it is. Your best bet is to find someone near you with a welder that can help you. If you're willing, you could always send the pieces to me, I can weld them up, test them out to make sure all the welds are solid, and ship it back to you. Just a thought
