cat ?
Whats up! I am finishing up my project car. It is an 84 gs that had a bad motor. I basically am finishes except driver door window regulator and bleeding brakes and clutch. My question is after i installed the exhaust back on and startd it up with choke at about 2500 maybe a couple muntes go bye and i start checking shit out on motor and tranny and exhaust and when i look at the exhuast from center of the cat back was glowing. i know lean conditions will create glowing but this is basically after the cat. any suggestions or will it just burn off?

Well the car is running like complete shit revs slow and sounds real weired. Also i found out the the water pump might be bad cuz it was leaking but i coundnt find the weap hole also the carb i used was old and i dont when it was ran last so ill switch to a different carb and change water pump and gut the cat and see if it is an improvment.
