Carl/Sterling Carb Rebuilds? Still in business?

I e-mailed Carl via his website http://www.pbandjracing.com/ about the turnaround time and cost minus rebuild kit (I will supply it. I alreay have it.) of a stock carb rebuild for my Spec-7 and never got a response.

Anyone know if they're still rebuilding carbs?

I need at least one rebuilt and I can't even get a simple Briggs & Stratton mower carb running right, I don't trust myself with the four barrel Nikki.

Trial and error with $40 rebuild kits is not the way I want to learn how to rebuild carbs.

If they're not in service anymore, is there anyone reputable that is?

I emailed Sterling about building a carb for me, and he told me that he had about 20-25 in process at that time. Right now I think he is only doing Sterling carbs. And the price is about $400?? You'd wanna check with him though. But AFAIK Sterling is still working like crazy on the carbs....

I had Carl do my carb over the winter time. What a difference it made on the car!

Sharp looking to!

You will have to wait a while, which is the reason I had it done during my cars winter downtime. Just the extra price you have to pay to have the best work on your carb at a reasonable price.

Yeah, Sterling is still at it, but he's pretty backlogged last I checked.

If you have the time to wait, it'd be worth it.
