isnt that flap over the secondaries (?) supposed to be shut?

Those would be the primaries, and no, thats the choke, so unless the choke is on, that should be open.

Im happy about the success of posting a picture and I was tryin to show a friend my carb for his oppinion on a rebuild.

thanks TJ, ive always been confused on wich ones were the primaries/secondaries. and what that stupid flap thing is for :D
