carb/fuel question

after going through like 10 different fuel pumps and clearing out fuel lines and finally gettin gas to my carb, for some reason my carb isn't givin gas to my engine:mad: .

I can pour gas down the carb and the car runs fine so im just wondering if anyone has any idea whats up with it. The carb was rebuilt by my little bro, he had the float levels set way off and now im wondering what else could have been done wrong by him in the rebuild.

Any ideas would be great, im tearing down the carb tomorrow to figure it out anyways but i just figured a lot of you would have some suggestions for me...Thanks!!

Re: carb/fuel question

perhaps you should consider sending your carb out for a rebuild. http://www.sterlingmetalworks.com/nikki/

Hey! What am I ? Chopped liver? :D

Dude, you need to pull it apart and check everything. If he messed it up that bad, who knows. Start with the float levels, and check the inlet needles.

LMAO....

I guess Carl you're just gonna have to do one better and make an even *better* website.... with lots of photos... and DIY articles.... ;)

Yeah mcnannay, tear 'er apart, and if you can't figure it out, send it to Carl. Or Sterling. I'm sending mine to Carl. But Sterling's good. Or Carl... Get the idea ;)? They're working together anyway, so it doesn't make a huge diff who you send it to, they both rock.

Carl's a good guy, he fronted me an Air Pump for my safety. He sandblasted it, repainted it, cleaned it inside, shipped it and everything! do a quick search for the thread "where credit is due" .. you'll find it.

And Sterling's got some awesome Nikki articles in the Archive.

Good luck
Jon
