carb again

Where is the air pressue regulator, because when i went out yesterday to start it the fuel started leaking without me turning the key and it got all over the engine (luckily it did'nt start, *start*backfire*explode*)and can anybody tell me the link that has, can't think of his name, how to remove the emissions junk on the carb?
Thanks,
Michael

Leaking on the outside of the engine or pouring down into the inside?
If it's pouring down the middle of the carb you should just pull the top of and clean all the stuff related to your floats.

As for emissions removal, I believe pratch has the link.

It poured it down on the inside and the the outside so thats why i thought it was the fuel pressure regulator, should'nt it not even start pumping fuel into the engine??
Now wheres Pratch???

Well, as soon as you turn the key to "run" the fuel pump starts pumping fuel to the carb. The carb then lets the fuel into the engine whne it needs to....

Where is the fuel spilling from on the outside?

Your talking about a stock fuel system? There is no regulator. What fuel pump do you have? Did it fill up the inside and THEN overflow onto the outside? Has it been sitting? Sticky floats are common in a car that sits. Tap the top of the carb with a mallet on the banjo fittings, that usually fixes it.
