Carb advice 12a

Looking to change my carb somewhere in the near future, not sure what direction to head. Right now I have a holley 2bbl that is way to big for my car so its not really a smooth ride. Looking to get a smooth ride but something that will give me over the stock 100 horsepower. I love the look of the Weber downdraft carbs but obviously the 48 is too big for stock ports as well. Any ideas?

I have nothing against Holleys. My brother's car ran VERY well before he decided to go with an REW setup.

However, with respect to the question at hand ...

Weber 48 will work fine for a stock port 12A. A RB modified Dell will work well too. Dual DCD 36 downdrafts is the best I've seen other than a hogged out nikki.

I am personally going with a hogged out Nikki.

Mine isn't an RB modded unit, just a regular old holley.
