Can I replace my coolant reservoir tank with a coolant overflow tank?
Could I get away with ripping out my coolant reservoir tank and replacing it with an aftermarket overflow tank?
If I can, of the many universal applications for coolant reservoir tanks, some are vented and recirculate, some are vented and don't recirculate, some are not vented but recirculate, and generally most aren't vented nor recirculate. I have yet to take a peak at my tank, but which kind should I look into? Vented, recirculates Non-vented, recirculates Vented, does not recirculate Non-vented, does not recirculate |
What's wrong with your's? You can probably pick one up at the wreckers or the for sale section. They may still be availible new at Mazdatrix. For aftermarket, vented and recirculates.

They are available new at mazdatrix, I just got mine last week :)

I have my reasons.
And, while I had a feeling people would come in ignoring the question and just ask "Why?", I would still appreciate an actual answer to my original question. "Is it possible and if so, what kind?" |
I did answer your qustion, read my post again.

......man, is my face red. I cannot believe that I skipped right past that. Well, I'll be inserting my boot into my mouth now. *L* Sorry, my apologies. Next time I'll keep in mind to pay closer attention before speaking.

No problem, try a little salt and pepper on the boot, they go down easier that way.
