Broken rearview mirror
 

i have n 82 GX and the rearview mirror is broken.

it has an overhead lamp built into ti and its hanging by a single plastic hook.

Something is missing or broken and a speed bump is all it takes to knock it loose and then it hangs by the electrical wiring .


is there diagrams out there so i cna see how this piece was assembled so i can see hwat pieces are missing or broken ? so i can fix it?

I could duck tape it ... but where is the fun in that? :)

i had a similar problem...mine doesnt have the wirg tho, so i just bought adhesive for rear view mirrors from canadian tire. maybe that would work is you worked around the wiring?

there are some screws that it bolts to the celing with IIRC

just replace em

wwilliam54 is correct. The whole assembley just screws to the ceiling.

it just looks like its missing something..

ONe more question, you d=know the widthth, length and thread of the screws i need? :)
