Bridgey is running...FINALLY!
So, i finally got her running. Started up pretty easily, and I'm amazed that all my wiring and assembly of the megasquirt had no issues. Sounds absolutely insane. Ive attached a video but the quality isnt good. Ill post more tomorrow in the daylight. I noticed some issues though.
After having run it a few times I noticed that white smoke was drifting out one of the throttle bodies. I felt the exhaust branch leading out of this rotor housing and it was quit cool to the touch whilst on the other rotor it was hot. Any ideas? Perhaps one/some of the injectors aren't firing or perhaps im not getting a good enough spark on one of the rotors. Ill do more fiddling tomorrow and take more vids tomorrow as its quite late here now. Still lots I need to do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3qaz2sQRqU For those who havent seen my setup before: 13b Bridgeport (series 4 turbo converted to N/A) Twin 50mm Throttle Bodies 4x550cc Injectors Megasquirt 2 (v3) Well i'm very happy for now lets just hope I can iron out all the bugs and get this thing on the road. You've got only one rotor firing. Sounds lawn moweresque. Probably an ignition issue.
