Which brands of caps have brass terminals?

I was reading that the Mazda cap is better then the parts store caps because of the brass terminals instead of aluminum. Does any parts store brands have the brass terminals? Because my local Mazda dealer wants $55 for a OE one and Mazdatrix has aluminum ones. Or is it really not that big of a deal. Thanks

Maybe try NAPA, their stuff is usually a step above the average parts store. Don't quote me on that. Although I paid about $50 CDN for a cap from NAPA. I've used the aluminum terminal caps before too and had no noticeable issues or reduction in power.

Good question. The last distributor cap with brass terminals I found was on ebay last January as new old stock (pics when new below).

I have about 25,000 miles on it now, enough to make the aluminum electrodes start to deteriorate, but the brass terminals still looks like new.

Not sure what the "WorldParts" brand is or if they're still around (or even if it was the correct box for the cap) but It would be nice to find another source!

I have a weird one with brass leading terminals and aluminum trailing. If you go direct fire, it's all you need. :) It doesn't seem to have a brand name but looks like an older design.

I just got a Beck/Arnley one because people said they sometimes repackage OE parts and it's aluminum so you can add it to POS list. The rotor was brass though and the Bosh rotor was aluminum so I would say their cap is too.

if you can find a standard motor products/blue streak it should have the brass. they are in blue boxes instead of the typical red for a smp box and the number will end in x other then that pretty much seems put luck

Speaking of this, I once found a dizzy rotor on a parts car that didnt have the 2 or 3 teeth that they usually have. This one just had one long brass piece that was basically a half moon shape. I wondered about whether that design would wear on the cap contacts less or if it affected anything in some negative way being one large contact instead of multiple. Has anyone else seen this type of rotor? I have no idea what brand it was.

if it helps the stock cap and rotor are made by mitsubishi. so it'll have the mitsubishi symbol on the cap
