If when you press on the brake and is slowly drops all the way to the floor, you've got a leak in the master cylinder. You can stop if you press the pedal hard and you don't give the fluid a chance to squeeze past the cylinder. If you press slow, you allow the fluid around the cylinder and don't build up enough pressure to effectively work the brakes.

Does that sound like what you are experiencing?

There could be other things, of course. If the fluid hasn't been changed in a long time, it may have absorbed enough water to make the brakes feel very squishy and nearly useless when they are hot.

sounds like air in the lines to me. the first thing you wanna try is a simple brake bleed or if you wanna spend the time, gravity bleed. if that doesnt solve the problem, try replacing the master cylinder.

do you have rubber brake lines or braided steel?

i believe i have rubber lines... Its a gsl.. The brake sluid is brand new, i just did my brakes about a month ago... If the master cylinder went out, how much will it cost to replace? Any more ideas? Thanks

Got it figured out, i had a kinked line that goes from the master cylinder to the passengers side of the engine bay... The hose was dead flat together.. Replaced the hose and problem solved. Thanks to all that helped..
