BRAKE warning light

Ok, I've checked my brake fluid, and it is not low, and my e-brake is fully down, but my light has been on the past 2 days. It has been really cold, and the pedal is a bit stiffer than usual feeling. So I don't know if the cold has created a temporary issue. I planned on a mountain drive next weekend, I was wondering if it would be safe now, or if there is soemthing that I need to replace or look at?

During winter it got so cold the orings leaked fluid out (All of it) in 3 weeks. but you have your fluid so I'd say maybe the sensor went out.

yeah the light only comes on for low brake fluid or the ebrake on. its possible the brake fluid float thing is stuck, take the cap off and make sure it floats. ebrake switch is pretty easy to check too

Oh forgot to say

maybe its the e-brake switch is broken and thinks its on still

My dad said its often in cars with ebrake on the light goes slightly brighter, does yours? In my FC mine doesnt, sucks I was like heh its prob the ebrake sensor, turned out I had zero brake fluid LOL

The light also comes on if one of your brake light bulbs is out.

No, that would be the "STOP LAMP" light.
