brake line question for SA with GSLSE suspension

im getting a SA with a GSLSE rearend on it and i have everything to put the GSLSE front suspension on it. i plan on using the GSLSE master cylinder and the lines from it. i was thinking about using StainlessSteel brake lines. for me to do so would i just buy a set designed for a GSLSE?

Do you mean to replace all the hard lines too? Seems like you would need to if you're upgrading the rest of the parts. I never heard of anyone using front GSL-SE parts..
The thread pitch is different on the hydraulic hard lines for the SA you know.
After you replace the hard lines, the new SS lines should go in no problem. Hard lines from any s3 should work.

I think I understand. You are going to convert the big brake stuff to an SA. You plan to use stainless lines. You are wondering if you need a set for a SE or not.

If so,

Madatrix has SS lines for doing this. You would not need to swap out the hard lines to use their kit.

Everything from the SE will bolt-on to a SA except for the brake booster. THe FB brake booster is larger than the SE, so keep the SA brake booster with SE master cylinder. Now for the front brake lines, FB's hard brakelines are longer than the SA and the SA doesnt come with a welded bracket on the wheel well. You can either fabricate or leave it hanging. My last SA conversion was about 2 years ago and to date, no complaint from my bro.

what i plan on doing it using the SE master cylinder and hard lines and to keep the SA booster. another big concern is the welded bracket in the wheel well. i might try to remove the ones from the SE and weld them to the inside of the SA wheel well. with me using the SE master cylinder and hard lines it makes it very easy if i need to replace anything on the rear brakes and changing the front without having to get custom lines made. this is what i needed to know thanks for everyone who contributed.

Instead of changing all the hard lines, how about you cut off the fittings and double flare the SE style fitting on the SA lines?

cause i have everything i need from the SE so i think itd be easier to do it the way i have planned, but thanks for the advice

does anyone know if these lines are designed for use with or without the hardlines from the SE?
