Bought my new car today.

Well I got a new car today. I know many of you wont like it, I still have mixed feelings about it... I bought a 95 Mustang GT. 50k white/tan leather, fully loaded. I really like the car, it is definatly nicer than my 7, but I would still rather have her back instead. I wanted something newer, and would still be fun to drive. I know many of you dont like Stangs for one reason or another, but I hope you will all let me hang out with you, because over time I feel as if I have come to know you all, and consider your thoughts, ideas, and "company" interesting... I will not become a cocky mustang owner, nor will you ever hear me trash talking the 7... It felt weird driving this car, its much bigger and is more of a chore to handle... It shifts weird and the foot well is small... It is a nice car, it will just take time to get used to... It will replace my RX-7 but it will never fill the hole.

sorry to hear of your loss, craigG, but i'm sure nobody'll kick you out just 'cause you don't have your seven any more. i'm sure you've got more than enough seven in the heart to cover it! take care of yourself!

It's not technicaly mine yet, still have to wait for some financial bullshit to get through. Plus I have to make sure I can afford the insurance on it... I got one quote and I didnt like the sound of it (my driving record isnt VERY bad, but it is less then perfect and I'm 19), so it might not be a definate, but it looks good... The guy is also getting an 88 TII in on Monday, so I might take a look at that, it has 55k on the odometer of the TII and 50k for the Stang... The Stang is 9k out the door so it's a pretty decent deal. Its white exterior with tan leather interior. Runs great with a new flowmaster exaust (I would add a nice little Bassani X pipe to that should I get it). The body and inside are in great condition, shows wear, but looks great still... The car IS 6 years old at this point and less then normal wear and tear is acceptable...Title is clean, good CARFAX and I checked head to toe, nothing was ever hit. I can afford the car I just have to check the insurance on it now, anyone know of a cheap insurance company? Living in CT makes my rates a little higher, as they figure that all of us are rich or some such bullshit. If anyone knows of cheap insurance, pass the name my way if they wouldnt mind
