best sounding exhaust?
Right now, i'm running a bridgeported engine with a 3" exhaust, and a perforated "muffler" that doesn't do a whole lot (have to yell to talk 20 feet from the rear of the car). it sounds awesome...for a minute. Driving hurts the ears after a mile. What k is a great sounding muffler? Not too quiet, but not too loud, and a deeper tone preferred.

Racing Beat exhaust hands down is the best sounding exhaust IMO.

Get the RB Street Port system, cost $$$ but its worth it and will be able to handle the BP with no
issues and sound great. You can buy just the center section and muffler if you already have the right header. |
i agree with RB being the best sound, if you're trying to tame whatever sound you currently have. recently, i found out that RB sells just the rear muffler for custom applications and of course, they a 3-inch presilencer, so you can do a custom system if your header does not support the long primary system.

Apexi N1 is also pretty good with sound level, their cat back system has two resonators in front of muffler. I have their 3" system on my 1G talon and it sounds quiter than most civics. Not sure what it sounds like on a rotaty though just a different option to look at.
Racing beat is a great one too and i would still like to install their presilencer and prob make the car sound almost stock :D until the gate opens and there is no hiding that. |
RB long primary "street port" system.
