best nikki rebuild kit?

Whats the best rebuikd kit for a 1980 nikki? Completely stock. It has been rebuilt recently by the previous owners mechanic and i believe he used an inferior kit. Gaskets are holding up fine and he seemed to degrease it properly. The floats would just not get the right bowl level no matter what so i put stockets back in and it solved 99% of the problems. Altough i think the needles stick to the seat periodocally. A 5000rpm blip to the throttle unsticks them so maybe its the rubber tips or brass coating sticking.

I just need a trustworthy kit with the floats and needles \ seats.

I used the Autozone GP Sorenson kit and it worked well for me. I just ordered the kit from RockAuto and we will see how that works. RA also has the carb floats as well, just so you know.

I've used a lot of the GP sorensens from autozone and can recommend them. However I'd also recommend getting some very fine wet/dry sandpaper and lightly sanding the edges of the needles where they slide against the seats. Otherwise you may run into flooding issues from the needles binding - this was a common issue for me.

I already tried 2000 gritt sand paper and wd40. Better, but still a periodic lopey idle. A 5000 rpm rev fixes it. Its happened twice since i put new float springs in. It happens only if i redline the engine in gear then let it drop down to idle. Before the springs were installed it would stall and flood out the secondary throttle plates. Previous owner rebuilt it eith no float springs.
