BC Coilovers
Hey guys anyone have any experience with the BC coilovers for a first gen? Not finding a ton of info on them and the spring rates seem somewhat high? https://coiloverdepot.com/collection...lovers-br-type

Are they using metric, as in 5KG/mm front and 3.5KG/mm rear? That would make sense. I'm using BC Racing Gold on my FB with 8KG/mm front and 4KG/mm rear, but I'll be changing to 6KG/mm front soon. Those rates are pretty much spot on for a street car, not too rough at all.

~TM68 edit: I found this handy information on the site: "Ride height is independently user adjustable so you can dial in the exact look to reflect your driving style and performance needs." So they do adjust height, but how much??? |

Not much different than T3 or any other coilover setups for unmodified 1st gens.

Since it was mentioned in the video that he was able to just purchase just the front coilovers from BC.
I wonder if I can purchase just the rear setup. I already have the front of my car setup with all the parts T3 sells. |
Do you guys have photos of Installation? Was it a bolt in application of was the original Tubes needed?

That is it! And finding a good machine shop and welding shop is critical.

The guys down here in California leave around 2 inches of the strut tube and slide the BC coilover sleeve over it and then seat and weld in the same spot as the picture above.

you leave 20MM of strut tube to slip the bc over and weld...
