Battery Relocation

I just recently finished my battery relocation project that i had been putting off. Thank goodness for warm weather and some snow melting. Anyway, i have SUCCESSFULLY (as in everything works) relocated my battery to the rear deck behind the passenger.

Im very excited, so i figured i would post. I have the ground for the chassis going under the rear speaker cover and my headlight harness along going directly to the battery along with my coil ground (from the engine harness) going right to the battery.

nope but here is the basic wiring without going thru the whole enchilada of which battery to use.

1. Battery in compartment: battery = short piece of cable = 100A or 150A breaker == cable == starter.

2. Ground: to any good source like seat belt bolt etc etc.

3. Fuse box: Starter == no smaller than 10g wire = fuse box/fusible link (I use thick AMP/Stereo red wire for this task).

I read somewhere in the archives to put a 5 amp fuse from the positive bypass the breaker and attach to the positive bat wire. Am I wrong?!

I have already done this conversion...and it works great so far. Wasnt asking if it was ready sounding or anything haha. Although i may have a question about the fuse setup mentioned. How would i decide what load fuse to use, and where in the line should i place it? Just between the battery and starter?
