basic engine question
 

If a car's been sitting for a while can the engine (12A or 13B) go bad? i.e. loose any compression?

not really u need to change all the water and oipls and stufflike that

more than likely your wwater seals will go but if its only been sitting a few weeks or months u should be fine

mate had a 13b extended bridgeport sitting for 3 years he changed the oils and water and started her up waiting 15 mins for her to warm up properly and she drove away
