Axle Shaft Bearings
Hi All,
Two questions - hopefully someone has experience with these. At RockAuto ... 1. Are CENTRIC 41145001 "Premium" Bearings decent products? 2. Are these sold as a set, or do I need to buy two to complete the rear axle bearing replacement? Ok, three questions - should I buy these else where? thanks! |
I just bought a bunch of bearings from rock auto and they all came in a Timkin box but I did buy a set and they are sold individually, a few of them dont appear to come with the retainer and you do need that. I purchased a fair amount of parts all at once but I am happy with everything from them so I would recommend it.

Guess I should have pointed out that it's a 1985, S. So I have drums, smaller axle (I assume) and so forth ... if that matters any.

I just bought and installed new Timkin bearings for my 79. They came with the bearing retainer. I've been told on here that they are good quality.

Their bearings are pretty good for the price. I buy tons of parts from RockAuto.
If you need help installing them feel free looking on my YouTube channel for my installation video. |
