apartment complex mayhem

so i go out this morning, to find the little back hatche peice that says rx7, which is held on the back window with two bolts, has fallen off, on top of that, i now have a dent on the roof on the driver side somehow which was not there when i parked my car last night, it looks about fist size.. and, the driver side rear blinker light cover has been also stolen,, someone just had a little too much doing minor shit to my car..

anyways i need to find another one of the hatch peices so my rear window will stay shut, and i need a blinker light cover or whatever you wish to call it,

any ideas how to get this dent out? its got a crease...

those parts you can get at a junk yard.. as for the dent... if its creased, it will be tough to get out.. look in your local phone book. there is a place by me called "dent-oligy" or some thing like that. they specialize in removing dents from cars with out taking off the paint. im sure there is a similar company by you.

luckily on this one, im glad to say i dont have the moon roof, so its just the body, its right on the edge to where it starts to round

You can get the screws for that hatch piece at Home Depot or Ace hardware. I just got some the other day. I believe they are 6mm by 10mm long.

Be brave: do your own body work. I love it. get a slide hammer to pull the dent (you can also try the "Ding King"), and some 2 part Bondo. And a 1/4 sheet palm sander (on sale at $25 usually) and some 400,600 and 800 paper. Pull the dent, fill it, sand it down, prime it, sand some more, and shoot with a spray can from the auto store.

I did that with the banged up red83 I got free, and now it's gorgeous!
