Anyone running weld wheels on their 7

I was thinking of doing the 3.5 for the front which is not a problem but was wondering what offset for the rear and how wide.. I want to run 15"s.. Stock rearend drum brakes on my 79.. Also what size tire to fit under the car.. I like fat ones out back and skinnies up front.. Just a drag racer here...

Pics would be nice also..

Im not to sure if they have a bolt patter for the SA...you will have to redrill the weld rims to fit...Somebody correct me if im wrong...

I upgraded my SA rear end to the GSL-SE many years ago so that i can have more options for different rims...this month i will be buying the weld racing 4x4 1/2 wheel pattern, skinnies in the front but im going way wider on the back after seven stock to start work on my 9INCH rear..

I bought them used... Backs stick out a little bit more then I prefer but hey, like I said got em used. Fronts are skinny's. 15" all around.

If you tell me what to measure I will so you can get a clue as to what you want or don't want to do.

Ohhh but like Teddy says...? ? ? Not sure about a 79'. Mine is a 85 SE.

When you goto summits catalog it tells you exactly what to measure to get your lug pattern, (which you already know) backspacing, offest, yada yada yada...

The fronts are just skinnies with a SE pattern. I don't think it matters at all.

The backs however I like the width, but I would of rathered the backspacing so they didn't stick out as much. That's where I'd say your measurements really matter.

They were originally on a mustang. 15s all around 3 1/2" fronts centered offset the rares are 8" with 5" to the inside, the rear tire are MT drag radials 235-60-15s fronts are 195-50-15 I think... Or close to it.

you will have to buy them directly from weld,and they don't make the 4on 110 pattern anymore.i switched to gsl-se front struts,and a 9 inch rear.a first gen will take a 15x 8.5 with a 5in backspace.the fronts are 0 offset.
