Anyone interested in a write-up for a remote power door locks kit install?

Yeesh, I've been busy posting on this forum, haven't I?

Anyways, I've ordered a universal remote power door lock kit from Black Dragon Auto, would anyone be interested if I did a write-up on the install? I know it may not be much, but I figured it might be a helpful thing to those that are considering unlocking their doors with a key fob but not really sure how to do it with the kit.

Easy. Take key fob. Hurl it at window. Window breaks. Reach in and pop up the door lock. ;)

Its a pretty simple thing to do with general wiring knowledge. (I have shaved door locks so this mod was needed on my car...) With the kit that I linked to in my other thread you can easily setup up keyless entry, and it works awesome!

I just bought the same kit along with the heavy duty headlight harness and the hella halogen lights.

The hardest part of the install looks to be the placement of the remote actuator in the door. I haven't taken my door panels off yet to see where the best mount point is but that would be useful to see in a writeup. The wiring seems pretty straight forward and it looks like you can pretty much stage it externally and then once its working right install it. I'll probably put the control module under the stereo in the center console.

I've had the door panels off before, mostly to replace a door handle, and I do believe that there's plenty of room for the actuator, and not get hit by the window regulator. *thinks* I hope.

Its very easy to get the remote actuators installed, if I remember correctly I only needed to drill 1 hole in each door... VERY VERY simple, you need to try it out to understand what I mean... I seriously went into the install expecting it to be way harder, I was amazed when the whole install took me about a hour.

Well, hopefully I'll get the parts by this weekend to go through with it. Altho, I will need to get me some drill bits.
