Anyone be interested in a trade for a FC??

I am selling my FC, and plans have changed from me wanting a T2 to wanting a FB. I would like a 84-85 GSL-SE. It needs to be in very good condition body-wise, but will consider one with mechanical problems (blown engine). If anyone would be interested in a trade for their FB + cash (considering car condition) for my FC, maybe we can work something out. Prefferably someone local. (i.e: within a few states). Here is a link to my sale thread. The car now has 15" BBS wheels from a convertable FC. I wasnt sure where to post something like this so feel free to move if necessary. :)

Please share with us how you made your brake lights with the words RX7? did you take out the little bulbs to spell it?

Rxmfn7 01-23-03 07:20 AM

Here is a link to my thread in the FC section about the brake light thing I did.
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...5&pagenumber=1

Basically I just disassembled the light, then used a emblem from a FB (the ones on the fender) as a stencil and traced it onto a piece of cardboard. I then very carefully cut out the "Rx-7" with a utility knife, then epoxied it onto the brake light lens. Very easy, took me like 20 minutes, and it looks cool

It could happen, Cowboy

Have a '84 SE, Silver with brown leather interior. It's been modded for Auto-X, with 160 K miles. Body is in wonderful shape. Both previous owners were SCCA people so vehicle has been well cared for all its life. Engine has not been modded. Car has tokico shocks, serious heavy-duty sway-bar, and 2nd gen rotary-dial wheels to put more rubber to the road. I replaced the entire cooling system, radiator, hoses, and water pump. Replaced driveshaft with Mazdatrix shaft with replaceable U-Joints. New front bumper and valance, as originals had stone chips and a couple of scrapes. Poly-U bushings, and wide SCCA racing seat-belt for driver. Gas guage won't register? ? ? Never did for us. replaced the tank sending unit with a new one, but no results. New brakes all around. Moonroof and solid roof included. Manual Steering!!! This is not a woman's car. Corners like a cat, and runs straight and true. Great car for some who want to build a hot pony!

Gotta jump in here and ask a newbie question.
What's all this business about FB and FC?
What's that mean? I've got an '81 rex...does that fall into one of these categories?
Thanks
