anyone ever put thier 7 on a car car rotisserie?
I'm really going to need to do some resto work on my pair and wanted to make/buy a car rotisserie. My question is, on a 7 where would you mount it?

I haven't done this on my '7, but I did it on my MGB when I restored it...what a great way to work on the car!
Good luck! Rich http://64mgb.home.mchsi.com/64mgb_20000911_01.jpg http://64mgb.home.mchsi.com/64mgb_20000911_02.jpg |
What model do you have. Did you feel safe? And still, where did you mount it to your MGB?

Check my site under project car.... I attached the front to the subframe mounts... and the rear to the frame rails.... NOTE don't use one like mine.... The car almost came down a few times. The base wasn't wide enough and the car almost tipped. The caster wheels broke and it was very wobbly. USE one like "64MGB" posted only!!! |

It was sooo unstable that the wheels on one side would lift!!
Car would almost touch the ground as seen in the last pic (note the front) I do not recommend this cheap crap, we had lots of fun getting it off that flexing BBQ! we almost lost the car way too many times!! 64mgb yours is awesome!! Mine has since gone to the scrap! |
