I will be in the old skul group. my fb is still waiting for an engine.......hopefully, after SS6, I should be able to decide in which engine to build. 13-B SP, 13-B BP, 12-A BP, 12-A, 13-B SP turbo blah blah blah....

Look out !!! I will be bugging everyone to help me decide.....

CHEF_EG_1 09-26-03 12:56 PM

Wacky.... you should do a PP 13B

Siraniko 09-26-03 12:59 PM

Thats a good one too but this is for my son.....If I do a P-Port, I will keep it for myself....:D Yes, Im greedy....I want it all for myself.

DriveFast7 09-26-03 04:06 PM

For the son I'd reccomend to make it a streetport to keep it simple. Any more power than that and it might get a little outta control!

Personally if I had a son I would put a roll cage in a 1st gen and go thru the rest of the car and make sure it's reliable. All new fluids and grease, K&N air filter and mabye remove the smog for simplicity. Too much power and not enough driving experience is a bad combination.

Cage would be for protection benefit mainly, any chassis stiffening is just a plus in this instance.
