Anti freeze leak from hose (pic)

Hey guys every now and then my coolant light turns on so i knew i had a leak somewhere. I went looking around my engine bay and found the leak, its coming out of the hose i am pointing at in the picture. Its a little pin hole and antifreeze shoots out when the throttle is open onto the two pipes right below. Is this hose easy to replace, i cant find where the other end leads to.:scratch

IIRC that goes to the rear iron where mine is conveniently blocked off.

Easy to replace, nope. Upper intake manifold and throttle body need to come off to access block connection. It can be easier to remove entire intake, laying it off to the side so you don't have to disconnect the cables.

well your right look towards the right in the pic kinda underneath the alt almost, you can see a hose with a bolt in it. thats the one you have leaking.

Hose

I may have the same issue. Where did you find the replacement hose and what was it called?

i couldn't figure out what it was called and i even had the Haynes manual that shows the hose but no item number so i just bought a regular hose from auto zone and new clamps and stuck it there. It works fine the only side effect i got from doing that was the idle popped up to 1,200. Dont ask me why im trying to figure that out right now!

its easy to replace, just involved. it requires purchase of the hose itself, and the uim gasket. i've got the part number for all of the parts from mazda. if you'd like i'll post them up for you.

Two's in, I'll need the part numbers as well. Is the manual pretty clear on how to get this thing out and back in or is it pretty obvious?

very simple to do just make sure u have new clamps for the hose. And make sure the car is cool so theirs less antifreeze.
