Am really starting to think there's very few other women in here!!
Women Driving 1st Gen RX-7s
I can't remember the numbers, but throughout the production life of the 1st Gen cars, the percentage of buyers who were women increased until they were the majority of buyers, at least out here in the western frontier. Some of you may have noticed that at some point, about 1983 I think, the seats became more heavily padded and thus the head clearance decreased by about 2 inches. The fancier interiors in the 84-85 cars, more plush seats and upholstery were aimed at that market, I think.
Eventually, the ladies moved on to Miatas, now I see a surprising number of women driving Honda S2000s out here in the Seattle area. Most women don't need to know all about the mechanics of a car - they are smart enough to drive something that is not old and worn out!!!!

im in binghamton area and go up there from time to time.. if you have any specific problems you could discribe them for a diagnoses, also maybe try the NE region board
**everyone in the area, read the NE board sections when u stop in to see if there are any NY things going on, we tried to set up a meet but only 2 or 3 could come so we didnt bother (it woulda been fun w/ speedie fest and collective soul concert) and if anything is going to be organized it usually is happening there
