aluminium plates?
i was just woundering, are all the plates on the engine that we port on aluminium? or steel? I would like to bridgeport my engine on my own, and i just wanted to know what i'm getting my self into. Also for the people that have done it at home what kind of tools have you used and recommend to use, i've heard dremels and some sort of air grinder??? (correct me on this one if i'm wrong )

There are both iron and aluminum housings. Go nose around in the rotary performance section for some good info. Also nopistons.com has a whole section devoted just to porting and engine building.
