Alternator Wiring Problem
So as i'm removing and cleaning some of the wiring in the engine bay, I noticed that I've disconnected one that maybe I shouldn't of had. Its the WB wire behind the alternator. Looking at some diagrams, that wire goes to the choke and check relay by the driver side which I unhooked because people told me I don't need it. So this was one of the wires on there Iguess and took it out. What do I do?

Pix of a clean harness wherein the unneeded wire have been removed. The remaining wires are for water temp, alternator and oil pressure.

The wire i'm talking about hooks up to the smaller connection
|
the white black wires on there ... on one side, it hooks up to the alternator ... the other side is the one that I've removed hooked up to the choke and check relay IIRC
|
Without the check relay your idiot lights will come on.

also the balck yellow line off that black connector (I don't think that I had it hooked up anywhere) I removed it and Ithink that wire went to the transmission harness by the driver side and looking at the FSM ... i think its only for auto trannys right?

For the alternator and warning light to remain functional you need the relay. You can replace it with a new automotive relay. This is what I did.
This diagram should help. If you're still using the choke you need a relay with an 87a out to which you connect the LR wire. https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...d=232949&stc=1 |
I'm not using the manual choke i have a vacum choke that is used. The yellow blue wire should be going to the driver side harness and right into the back of the dash right?

also what is the part number for these types of relays?

It appear to me that you havent done your homework nor done any research.
its a fog lights relay. its either the bosch or the other brand with 2 87 terminals. |
I kinda did ... this was from another post link and knew about it ... but i couldn't see them post any part number. So are they just called Bosch SPDT(Single Pole Double Trhow) relays?
