all of a sudden

my 7 just started running rough,,didn't change a thing,,came off freeway
and was running rough,,will bearly idle,,and engine is moving a lot..
straight out,,it's missing,,i thought plugs,,checked them the other day,
car ran good after that too,,thought i'd ask the forum, before i do anything to it,,what do you think ????

I think you have a problem.

I second RotorMotorDriver... :)
Yea, I had a problem like that too. It sputtered bad and RPM were erratic. And while I struggled home, it fixed itself... I think it was just something in the carb...

Sorry, I couldnt resist that last one :D. Anyway, you said the engine was moving a lot? Like the physical engine under the hood is rocking or something? If thats the case, check your motor mounts no matter what. Make sure there 1) Still there and 2) attached and workng properly. Ive never even looked at the motor mounts on my car, but i know that they have to be there and working to do any good ! As far as rough idle...I dont know, but doesnt it make you feel good that at least someone thought about it? Look for vacuum hoses that may have fallen off?? Check adjuster screws?? Try looking for any kind of loose connections, including igniton wires, i know that these cars can manage to run on one rotor, maybe a wire fell of...I dont know...chek everything before you go buying anything. Just my thoughts, just remember to play nice with it.

Sounds like it's running on one rotor. Or maybe only running on the trailing ignition. First thing you should do is find out if you have spark at both leading plugs and proceed from there.

after reading other post's in having anything to do with idle,or carb,
or allkinds of other (carb) problems,,and there are a lot,,these carbs.
are,,,well,,ok,i guess,,?? and i'm all over the vacum line thing,,but
to test for (leading) spark,,so if the sparks fine,,then what ? but,so
far i'm still reading,,,thanks though,,what else ??

Check you fuel filter, if it is filled with rust, guess what, so is your carb. If that is not it check you decl valve. If the vacume accutuator inlet becomes cloged, or the silenoid that controls it fails in some way, the valve will be it the "decl mode". Which is, routing all of the air and fuel from the rear rotor to the front. This condition would cause the running on one rotor feel.

This why I stripped all of the emissions crap and all the other useless junk off my carb. Reliability is perfect and if something did go wrong I'd know exactly where to look.
