All of my gauges died and that stupid buzzer wont stop, Please Help!

I was going for a ride in my friends Rx-7 and when he started the car a buzzing noise started and alll of the gauges and lights on the cluster went out and the buzzer wont stop buzzing but the car runs fine no sputtering or misfires. I tried to search the threads for info but everything pointed to the oil level and the coolant level but nothing about the gauges going out. I checked all of the fuses under the dash but none of them are blown. What else should I check?

Please Help!!!

Address the buzzer first. This is even more critical with the gauges being non-op. Recheck the fuses and the connectors they plug into, those may be corroded. Check the fusible links for continuity. I'll bet the tach still works, doesn't it?

Then check the alt and the wiring.

Also make sure the plug on the back of the alternator and its corresponding wires are clean and secure.

Thanks Trochoid & Directfreak for the help, I did what you guys said and rechecked all the fuses and wire. I found a loose wire so I tightend it and my problem was solved.

Thank Again!!!
