Are all 84-85 gas tanks the same?

I know this has been talked about before and lots of people say that the gsl-se gas tank has baffles in it and the 12a does not but why does mazdatrix show the same part number for all 84-85?

doesn't the GSL-SE also have a return line? or maybe i'm wrong i dunno, i just got a GSL lol

the 12A tanks also have a return line. I know it is possible to put a S3 tank into an S2, but not sure about other way around.

the gsl-se tank has the baffles, and the pickup lines are larger in diameter

wut he said. my 12a 85 tank did not have baffles. mazdatrix only sells the se tanks , they fit both cars, if you can get the old hose stretched over teh 3/8 instead of the 5/16 hose.

Ok, that explains it, I'm actually looking for an se style tank since I'm going turbo. Thanks.
