mounting the sensor or the guage?

Makenzie71 10-31-03 12:12 AM

Thinking about this I'm very curious. I intend to have an A/F guage but don't know how to set it up. The last one I had ran off the stock O2 sensor...beings carbed cars have no O2 sensor how does it work? Do the have a sensor that just taps into the exhaust manifold?

I have a greddy AF meter that uses its own sensor..It's 60mm mounted on the dash on the right side..

Sorry, server crapped and I didn't think the thread even posted.... I had an O2 sensor bung welded onto my RB header when I bought it and have a sensor from an old junked Hyundai filling the hole for now. I'll be picking up a new sensor and wiring it is easy, I just don't know how to mount the gauge. I want to replace the clock with it but wanted some pointers so I don't hack up my dash.

You mean like this... heres my interior
After removing the center console piece, youll have to carefully enlargen the hole where the clock was to make it fit..I used a Dremel with a grinding bit then sanded it smooth. For wiring I cut and spliced in a snap coupler from an electronic supply store for ease of removal of the center piece if in the event needed.
