Ahh! The sweetness!

No, no, I haven't started her up yet. Decided to upgrade the fuel system. Came out so good decided to post a pic :)

Took out both skinny supply and return fuel lines and replaced them with 3/8 stainless lines. The supply line I ran all the way to the regulator from the pump. Since I decide to use no rubber hoses, I will install a filter and a shut off in line.
The return line goes all the way to the tank.

Hey! Tools that make life sooo easy. I minimized fuel spills with a set of pinch-offs and various sizes of stainless plugs.

that is an awesome setup!! going with staniless lines should be able to handle a lot of pressure(not that the rubber ones wont) and add a bit more spice to your already smoking engine bay!!

My eyes are bad... are those braided SS lines or hard SS lines?

PaulFitzwarryne 03-29-06 08:39 PM

Your fuel lines match the professionalism of the whole engine bay. Congratulations, great concept and workmanship.

I have to say that the feminine touch to cleanliness and organization has definite advantages when that female has a wrench in her hand. :icon_tup:

The supply is all stainless line. The return I hooked up a braided piece with a quick disconnect at the end of it, stainless Guest fitting x 3/8 barb with a stainless compression fitting and nut to the tubing, then the rest is stainless line. Did that just incase I ever need to take out the regulator.

Thanks everyone for the support and kind words. It is alot of hard work, but well worth it to me. I tell ya it was a pain in the ass to bend all of that tubing and get it in there, but I managed to follow the stock lines and was able to use the stock holders under the car. And boy do I have alot of 3/8 line left over.

Your engine bay is insanely clean/neat. How long have you been working on the car? What all do you have done to it? You're an inspiration.

Regards,
Alexander Hipple

Lee Lyons 03-30-06 08:01 AM

ya hats off to you on your clean and organized bay...hopefully once I paint and put the motor back in I can get it as spotless as that...I wish there were girls around here who even knew what a set of vice grips were

TiViD 03-30-06 10:25 AM

rotor vs. piston 03-30-06 04:50 PM
