I dont know but I was wondering about the benefits of dual oil coolers, anyone know what benefits there would be?

i was wondering something similar. i had the idea about using the oil cooler from one of the Gen III cars (either the single or the twins) but i wanted to get an idea of how much oil they hold and the amount of exposed surface area they would need.

thus far, other than the Gen III upgrades, i haven't seen any aftermarket coolers that i would feel comfortable using on a rotary. it would seem that for the FB, twins will not be an option that goes without some SERIOUS modifications because the airflow through the nose is vastly different from that of an FD. we simply don't have the available space at the corners to flow the air to the coolers.

in my search, i found that some of those guys use aftermarket coolers (CWR and Mocal were the two predominant ones i saw). CWR seemed to be reasonably priced, whereas the Mocal units were listed at like $1,400 bucks.

i started a thread in the General Tech Support section on this: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=117364
