I have Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge It works really well, and moves Just as quick as the Rpm Gauge, I also have the Autometer A/F.... It doesn't always see to work but it looks nice once it does work

You can see them here

I have all Auto Meter, they have saved my motor twice now.

A/F, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp.

An EGT re-acts fairly slow. So if you want it for tunning, you are better off getting an A/F gauge.

I have Omori gauges in my car.

I got my EGT gauge from Omori Meter.com and they were cheaper than the Australian importer!

I have pics of the gauges on that page.

A/F guages are worthless. Its you really feel the need to measure your a/f based on a narrow band o2 sensor, just wire a volt meter dirrectly to it and skip the fancy, yet useless, light show. The range of most guages just its enough to be worth while.

just remember jon, anything like oil/fuel pressure is going to have to be electric or mouted outside the car. ;)

riffraff 12-21-01 09:08 AM

i agree that the a/f gauge are almost worthless, plus i donot think that they put an o2 sensor in until the gsl-se.

greg, i was planning on all electric guages.

BTW: AJC13B, how much do those guages cost, roughly... becuase those kickass compared to the Defi guages i was thinking about getting.

Unless you feel like plumbing high pressure, hot oil or noxious, flammable fuel into your cabin. Electrics please.

Who has the best bang for the buck gauges? I've heard Autometer is cheap stuff.

Bang-for-buck: Definatly Westach (http://www.aircraft-spruce.com )

BadAssRX-7 12-21-01 03:44 PM

they kick ass, they are only a few miles from me and got all kinda cool stuff :)

Pele 12-22-01 02:19 PM

How do you mount the aircraft gauges in your car? Can you remove the little ears so they will fit in normal gauge pods?
