AFCO radiator instal [maybe]. Hose fitting questions.
4 Attachment(s)
I got my car started for the first time in a couple years the other week and discovered that my stock radiator leaks like crazy. My roommate has an AFCO he's not using and said he would sell to me for very cheap. I can fabricate something to mount it up to my car fairly easily, but it only has 2 inlets and I would have to find a fitting to plumb in the small coolant hose on the bottom joint. I've done a quick search online and wasn't able to find anything. I was wondering if making/using a PVC adapter might work.
Here are a few photos of the radiator resting in the approximate place I'm going to mount it (at the wrong angle) with the hoses. Any opinions or advice would be nice. |
If you can weld just take a section of tube and weld a nipple in it. If not buy one of these and screw in a nipple.

Hope this helps. |
Great! Thank you
