Which sucks for my insurance :P

I lost three points before I even got my licence by running a stop sign on my bicycle... Damn "bicycles are not pedestrians, they are non-motorized vehicles which must follow the traffic rules and drive on the road like everyone else"... grr...

How do you lose points on a license you don't even have yet?

In Australia, too. Of course, heaps here have 13bT transplants which makes them faster than 99% of traffic

you know...some bicyclists do get themselves into close calls or even accidents with motorists at their own fault.

This is not always the case, but I believe bicycles should follow safety rules of the road just like everything else that's using the road because to do stuff like run stop signs and red lights is really asking for it.

If you've ever driven around a metropolitan city like San Francisco, you might know what I'm talking about.

whether or not it should've affected your license before you even got it, i don't really know which side to pick on this.

My insurance company puts all cars in the same category and rates stay the same for all cars unless they're turbocharged.

My insurince carrier not only rates the RX7 as a sports car, they purposly keep it in a high rate group. The rate goup is sufficently hight that my sterio ~$3000 is covered with out any kinde of a rider policy. I payed ~$800 for the year last yer on my FB, and that is including a discound for multiple vhicles with the same company, and no colision coverage.

Insurandce companys SUCK

My insurance co. didn't rate it as a sports car...simply a "coupe". I was surprised I got away so cheap...
