85 workshop manuel
 
i have a 85 mazda workshop manuel would it work on an 84?i heard that 84 and 85's are almost identical

Yes, the very minor differences are detailed in a recent thread, plus the model change was about October 84 so anything after that date ib a 85 model.

thanks for the info fellas. i actually got mines from a freind he sold his SE and didnt need the book anymore.

It was one of the first purchases I made after getting the car. It's a must have part IMO.

speaking of factory manuals.... 85RX7GS - didja figure out that starter issue you were having.

Yeah, I need some of those shims that go between the starter housing and the solenoid. One or two should do it. :)
