84-85 Radio Surround ????

How do you tell if the difference between the 84-85 radio surround for the push button one or the slider one?

IIRC they are the same.

i do believe the surround itself is the same for both. the heater/ac controls is a separate piece to the surround.

Yes, i thought the same until I saw different part numbers for them.
