84-85 Clutch master fit 83?

I am in serious need of a new clutch master for my 83' right now. I was going do a follow-up on the last thread I started about this, but for some reason, I can't find it. I appreciate the help on that thread btw. I haven't driven my FB in almost a month because of the failed master. So, if anyone can tell me, thanks.

Interchangeability is as follows, 81-83 are the same. Then 84-85 12a's are the same, and 84-8513b's are the same.

Okay. There is one on ebay listed for 84-85. I think I should ask if it's for the 12a GSL or 13B GSL-SE. If the 84-85 master on ebay is for the 12a it will fit my 83?

nope...won't fit...

Yeah, sorry, I misread rx7doctor's post. I thought it said all 12a's were interchangeable. I need to go to sleep.

Mazda trix sells a new one for $56.33 = tax, plus shipping. A kit sells for $15.15.
most parts stores probably sell it for 50-70. I have a good used one for $25.
plus shipping. also have lots of parts to fit your car. Where are you located? Pm me

I appreciate the offer, but I prefer a brand new one. I also used a kit but it failed on me within a week's time and the materials were weak.

um im using a gsl-se clutch master in my 83, works fine, had to bend the line very slightly to get it to fit, as it sits a little higher when installed, but it has worked great for a long time, i say they are all interchangeable,

i seriously barely bent the line...you can't even tell

*sigh*

All clutch masters are identical, except for the hydraulic thread pitch difference between SA (Series1, 79-80) and FB (Series 2/3, '81-85).

Well if a GSL-SE one fits...
I hate to link to Rice capitol, but NOPI's online store has them cheapest..
I've never ordered anything from them, but in a recent post some other people had and had no problems.
