83 GSL, should I buy it?

supposedy its got a rebuilt engine, and just sitting in this guys yard...at the moment, my engine is blown(2nd gen), so it would be a way of transportation, though I really dont like how the 1st gens look, and would probably end up not driving it anyway, I dunno...its only $250 though, worth it?

mazdaverx713b 01-02-04 08:59 PM

hell yes! just make sure if you are going to drive it, that it has minimal or no wheel well rust. good luck!

AE_Racer 01-02-04 09:01 PM

yea, I figured I should, it would at least be a good investment right? I just need it talked into me...plus I gotta talk a few people into giving me $250 (i.e. parents :))

I'd grab it and I prefer 1st gens to 2nd gens, but 3rd gens to 1st gens. heh, sorry had to go bit off topic there.

AE_Racer 01-02-04 09:17 PM

I dont have any other info at the moment, because when I talked to him I wasn't really interested in buying it...but I have come to my senses

AE_Racer 01-02-04 09:32 PM

found out its wrecked pretty bad in the front, not driveable...but it would prob still be good for parts, no?

mazdaverx713b 01-02-04 10:08 PM

great for parts, especially if the engine is good!

AE_Racer 01-02-04 11:36 PM

he said the engine started right up..its got an alum. intake, and a header, some sort of exhaust...and a new clutch...didnt know how many miles on rebuild

QuagmireMan 01-02-04 11:43 PM

If it goes, stops, and turns with any kind of proficiency, buy it!
