81 and 84 clutch the same? help now!!

Is the clutch on an 81 the same as a clutch on an 84? both 12A's, or anotherwords will an 81 clutch work on an 84 so I do'nt have to buy another one.

No. In 83, they changed the size from 215mm to 225mm.
