Are the front counterweights between '76-'80 and '81-'82 actually the same weight? I am kinda curious about this. I know the GSL-SE front CWs have a 45º edge to get around the aux port casting, yet are compatible with any '74-'85 rotating assembly. Did Mazda change the shape for '81-'82 simply to differentiate or is there another reason like the lighter flywheel? I've always been curious. |
