78 rx7
 
i am working on a 78 and was looking at this piece right above the master cylinder, it looks like a vacuum pump or fuel regulator but looks stock. if someone knows i would sure appreciate it.

hmm.. one other thing.... last I checked, the oldest Rx was a 1979 model year. (made in mid to late 1978)

There are 1978 RX-7s, but they were called Savanas, and were right-hand drive. A guy in Ottawa has one.

Comon now, dont be dicks cause this guys just trying to get some info, its hard to work on a car different from all other cars like his SA compared to changes made in the FB's . I'm not exactly sure what he's talking about but i think i've seen this piece on my car. Tell me what it connects to and i'll see tonight if mines the same.
